Photo Contest - Call for Logos

DCG emailed me the following contest which is open to all:
Hi Folks,
As you all know, the DC Groups concept has been relatively successful.
Over the last two years, we've grown from the original 6 debut groups to
about 75-80 groups around the world. Some of the groups appear VERY active
while some are woefully inactive. Don't sweat it, I won't mention names!
haha
Anyway, in two years time we have yet to create a common DCG logo that can
be used alongside your own group logo. So I'd like to toss this out to the
list and see who can come up with a usable DCG Logo that we can all use.
Consider this a Call for Logos (CFL). If you have skillz at graphics and
want to submit a logo for consideration, please email that to
russ@defcon.org. We'll make a decision by the end of April. I'll try to
get all the submissions posted on a website so everyone here can look at
them. Please have your submissions in by March 15th so everyone else on
the mailing list has 2 weeks to vote on their favorite logo.
Rules:
-The logo MUST say 'Defcon Groups', not just Defcon.
-The logo should not be overly complex since most groups will be using
these logos in print.
-The logo should be HIGH resolution.
-All logos submitted will be voted on by the DCG POCs. The top 5-10 will
be submitted back to Dark Tangent and Black Beetle for the final decision.
-Please monitor this thread as there could be changes to these rules at
any time.

Feb Meeting

February is a good month for DC 810 468.
We had a very sucessful meeting and many things were accomplished. We fixed a computer and educated on linux and various web lingo. Education is one of our main missions and enlightenment is available to anyone who wishes to attend no matter what your skill level. Looking forward to next month's meeting. See you there.
Note to all:
Knoppix does not support wifi cards that aren't b nor does it support combo cards.
Once you lapse activation with Xp Windows turns into a real bitch.
Script kiddies who don't fully understand proxies and masking your indenity on the internet can get in a lot of trouble.
When hacking know your goals and what you intend to accomplish as well as how to cover your tracks, because if you get caught you might as well have never done it at all.

DC 810468 is going to change locations on the internet here real soon.
You can expect our site to be re located at www.dc810468.org as soon as our DNS populates threw the servers it will come on-line with a newer version of the current site.
